Ein Gedi, Masada, Dead Sea for kids This Dead Sea tour is especially geared for families with children.
Our tour begins with a trip out to the magnificent Judean Desert. We’ll reflect upon desert living and learn about the Bedouins living in the area and how they follow in the footsteps of our patriarch Abraham (Avraham Aveinu). In keeping with this theme, we’ll stop off at Eretz Bereshit (Genesis Land) for a visit to Abraham’s tent, where you can ride a camel and try your hand at making pita bread the old fashion way. Our travels continue eastwards to the region of the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth! We’ll pass by Qumran, where the Dead Sea scrolls were found, and stop off at the amazing oasis of Ein Gedi where we’ll go hiking and see waterfalls and pools for swimming (bring your bathing suits and water shoes!!!). After lunch we’ll head to Masada (the last stronghold of the Jews against the Romans). Finally, get ready for an unbelievable experience - floating in the Dead Sea!
