Jerusalem’s Old City – There is a marked path through Jewish Quarter.  Sites include: Kever David (tradional site), Cardo, Hurva Synagogue, Burnt House, Arab Shuk, Batei Machse, Museum of the Last Stand

Kotel is accessible

Tunnel Tours of the Western Wall (Kotel)– call to clarify current access.

Southern Wall Excavations – partial; full access to Davidson museum

Ir David (City of David)– only the visitor’s center where you can get view of area

Masada – they offer an electric wheel chair – must be reserved in advance (02-991-1117).  If not available – I suggest ask park ranger to drive person to bathhouse structure then the rest is downhill.

Top beaches:  Israel has 23 wheelchair accessible beaches.  A few have special Beach wheelchairs

Tel Aviv:

Hilton Hotel’s Beach has long ramps to beach – ending a few feet from the water.  Can request their special BEACH WHEELCHAIR that can be rolled into the water – they have 2 of them.

Metzitzim beach- Disabled parking, disabled toilets, access to shaded cover for disabled, near the water line.

 

Ashdod Mei Ami Beach has a nice path that allows you to get very close to the water

Haifa Dado beach – Disabled parking, disabled toilets, beach access.

Beit Yanai beach-Disabled toilets, accessible restaurant, disabled parking, moderate leverage to the beach.

Netanya Sironit beach- Disabled parking (requires payment), special wheelchairs for the beach.

Herzliya Eden beach - Disabled parking, disabled toilets, beach access.
